We are nearing Christmas faster than I’d like to admit – and is it just me or do people start popping up on your list that you completely forgot about (oops)? Yikes! Have no fear – Fresh Beauty is here!
I recently had the pleasure to go on a shopping spree with Fresh Beauty here in Dallas at Northpark Mall – their only location on Texas. And oh my did they spoil me! I left with an abundance of goodies – some old favorites and some new things to try and report to you all. #obfreshed !
I’ve been on the hunt again now for a scent that is relaxing yet memorable and never offensive. I say this because I needed a new scent to spray on my bedding and pillows every day. There’s something about a calming scent that helps me settle into a calmer sleep more quickly.
I ended up choosing the Sugar Lychee spritz – but still hold stronger for my other favorite Sugar Lemon. The scent is crisp and lightly delightful – it makes my sheets fresh all week!
I have to admit all of the gift sets are freaking adorable! I adore the packaging alone – but the sets are amazing. From lip sets to masks – there’s something for just about anyone on your list.
I unashamedly went home with LOTS of personal picks. BUT who can be mad when they’re this good? I’ve always been a huge fan of the sugar bath cubes (went home with two) and the Sake bath – it’s heavenly and it seems to sell out rather quickly.
I’m trying a few new things: the vitamin nectar mask, the umbrian clay toner + mask, the black tea age delay eye concentrate, and the wonder lip drops. Walked away with an age-old favorite, the brown sugar body polish and the sugar face polish.
Vitamin C Nectar Mask
So far I’m loving this mask. Obviously there are a bizillion masks that serve a plethora of purposes – but I turned to this one last week when my skin just felt blah. The vitamin C left my skin with an impressive glow, pores that instantly felt tighter, and an all over even appearance. I have combination skin that acts differently based on the climate/weather and lately has just been dull and dry with the colder weather. Definitely adding this to my routine on a weekly basis! Did I mention it smells amazing? Also is parabens, sulfates, and phthalates free!
Umbrian Clay Mask & Toner
Huge yes to both of these! I love clay products for their ability to simply just draw all the crap out of your pores. I always use a toner after I wash my face and love that this one is great for all skin situations. It’s great for wiping up excess oils without completely robbing your skin of the essential moisture it needs. The mask I highly recommend when you’re looking for a purifying/clarifying mask. Whenever I notice a hormonal breakout heading my way I try to get ahead of it with a clarifying product. The clay and ingredients help calm the skin while also purifying and drawing out the nasty. I leave it on to dry (usually around 20-30 minutes) and then rinse off with warm water. My skin feels so clean and fresh afterwards!
Black Tea Age Delay Eye Concentrate
So far I like what I’m seeing with this product. I’ve noticed lately (mostly from fitful sleep) that I’m gathering unwanted baggage around my eyes, so rude! I put this on before I go to bed but also can use in the mornings for puffiness and dark circles. It’s also great at firming up skin around the eye area (aka age-delay properties in preventing wrinkles!).
Wonder Lip Drops
This is definitely a new favorite find! Don’t get me wrong – I love my various lip salves that I sleep in, but this one is a no mess wonder! Instead of having to get the product all over my fingers, I simply place a few drops on my lips and call it a night! I wake up to smooth lips that would otherwise be parched. I’ve heard it’s a great base for balm or lip color but I haven’t tried that since I only wear it before bed. But I keep this nugget in my nightstand! If you’re searching for a simple gift or stocking stuffer – you absolutely cannot go wrong with this!
