Man oh man have I taken a mental break this past week. I’ve been so overwhelmed with everything going on lately, I knew I needed to take some time away from feeling like I ‘had’ to post. Do you ever get like that? I know I’ve reached that point when I start to care less about all the things I have going on. I had also not been working out as religiously as I used to – meaning mind, body, and soul were all exhausted.
The past few days have been filled with getting ready for the holidays, various family issues, and traveling to Kansas City (if you guys watch my insta stories you saw the trip!). It was so much fun, although we had a run-in with some really creepy dudes. I could go on and on about the nature of men and the need to interrupt a pleasant evening of pretty young ladies, but I won’t. Instead, all I will say is be mindful of who you’re with, guard your drinks, and never be afraid to amp up the attitude and tell them to buzz off! Particularly the ones who seem to not notice any polite ways of telling them to bugger off. I cannot stand that! Aside from the creeps, we had a lovely time exploring the city and had some amazing BBQ!
Now that the holidays are quite near, I know I’m going to be stuffing my face with so many holidays goodies, sweets, and treats – otherwise meaning I need to get my butt in gear and get back on my workout routine! I recently met the owners of Studio to Street Boutique while attending Style Con earlier this fall. I am so excited to introduce you all to affordable activewear that’s still insanely cute!
From jackets, to sports bras, and even athleisure – they’ve got it all. Each piece I’m wearing in these photos is from their boutique, so cute right? The sheer paneling in the pants is such an eye catcher and the jacket is so cozy! I’m wearing an XS, but probably should have gone up one size since the fabric isn’t very stretchy. The quality in these products is also fantastic – I’ve machine washed all of the items with no shrinkage or sudden holes in the clothing. If you’re curious, I encourage you to visit their website or check them out on instagram for lots of great savings!
