August where did you go? Seriously I feel like I

August where did you go? Seriously I feel like I blinked and the month has vanished! That being said, August was a super productive month for me. We are almost done with the nursery and finally had the light fixtures put in. Seeing all of her teeny tiny clothes just gets me! We did maternity photos which I have loved sharing with you- they’re all so beautiful! @audrey_oh_art is AMAZING My second to last semester of my doctorate started last week. The end is finally in sight! Finishing with a baby should be a test but I believe I can do it! I got all my health things updated: dentist, eye exam + new glasses, and updated my Tdap shot. Y’all remember preventative care is EVERYTHING. Baby is looking good, weighing 3.1 lbs and absolutely precious. Her little kicks and jabs are getting stronger and it continues to just amaze me there’s a tiny human in production. I get more and more excited to meet her! Look at that little mouth open in the video they captured - I just melt! How was your August? Any upcoming plans for September? The weather here is blessedly cooler after getting lots of rain! Come on fall!!

Never forget - You’re a STAR baby ⭐️ It’s a suuuper rainy Monday here in DFW, how is yours? If you live in the area, be safe! So much flooding happening all around! As I look at my window, I see one of my little hummingbirds STILL flitting around and visiting the feeder. It’s kind of amazing how something so small and fragile still finds the courage and determination to venture through the down-pouring rain to carry on its day. Maybe we could take a lesson from that; be a hummingbird in a storm and don’t let life get you with the impossibles⛈ 💪🏼 Speaking of strength, how fun is this outfit? Jumpsuits are becoming my favorite pregnancy outfit simply for their ease and comfort. Throw on a fun top, some shoes that fit 🤣 (hello swollen feet), and a hat and you’ve got yourself a cute without complications outfit 🌟
